ABOUT
ABOUT ME

I'm an experienced multimedia journalist and speaker based in Washington, DC. I cover chemistry, which includes forensic science scandalsdoping, and the looming problem of plastic. I also love to write about the fabulous restaurants and food culture in my adopted city.

WHAT I'VE DONE

I became a journalist after earning a chemistry Ph.D. at Princeton University. I've worked as both a reporter and editor for Chemical & Engineering News. My freelance work has appeared at Forbes, Scientific American, Science News, Princeton Alumni Weekly, and DCist.

WHAT I DO

I provide writing, editing, and social media services. I'm fluent in Spanish and offer proofreading for Spanish-language content. Book me as a speaker to describe how to make your science stand out to a reporter, how to use Twitter effectively, or how to move to journalism from a Ph.D.

PROJECTS

My clips include stories for print and the web, as well as audio and video journalism. Click any image to start a slideshow.
